More Good Advice

A few days ago, the morals lacking Bill Clinton visited the White House and in the Oval Office, told President Obama that he should honor the promiss he made to the American people. That, they could keep their current health plans and keep their doctors. Unfortunately, it is too late. The health insurance plans are gone. For his efforts, Clinton was rewarded. Not with oral sex. Scandalous

Yesterday President Obama and his press spokesman, Jay Carney, berated the conservative opposition for pushing for answers to many serious events. They claimed that time and energy was being wasted on made up phoney scandals. These were not scandals. These were serious events and situations that have drastic and serious implications for our Country. I want to know what scandals were phoney.  Was the attack on our Embassy in Benghazi and the murder of our Ambassador Phoney? Was the order not to defend the gallant people there phoney?  Was our Justice Department supplying guns to Mexican drug lords phoney? Was the IRS targeting and denying tax exemptions to conservative groups phoney? Please Mr. Carney tell us what scandals are phoney/ What was proven phoney was the false story provided by the White House of the cause of the events in Benghazi. Phooey on Phoney. Congress should diligently and quickly move forward on investigations and get the truth out to the American voters. By the way, Americans, you will get no help from the major media in this country. Unethical

N.Y. Governor, Andrew Cuomo is running an ad, with tax dollars, on T.V. promoting his phoney campaign against illegal behavior in the State Legislature. You guessed it, he has appointed a commission! More waste of tax dollars. If  Andrew really cared about improper and unethical behavior, he would have prosecuted Eliot Spitzer, then the Governor, and Andrew was the State Attorney General. Remember, Eliot used taxpayer transportation to hook-up with a hooker in Washington D.C. Prostitution crossing state l,ines is a big felony. Eliot resigned and, because there was no prosecution, he served no jail time. Any poor average Joe would still be gazing out through the bars. Also, if Andrew was truly concerned about ethics, he would have forced the removal of Sheldon Silver from the State Assembly. Sheldon used thousands of taxpayer dollars to buy the silence of sexually abused women. These women were abused by some members of the Assembly who have been forced out or resigned. Sheldon should, also be gone. But Andrew wants to be President and he'll need Sheldons' support. Andrew is a phoney and, we don't need another phoney President. Reverse Racism

 The Zimmerman case and the other case I'm bringing up have absolutely no comparison--- Where were Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and all the other black protesters when O.J. Simpson was acquitted after planning and murdering his white wife and her white male friend? What is happening all over the Country today proves that racism is alive and flourishing and it all belongs to the blacks the likes of Jesse and Al. You can also add the man who pledged to unite our Country, Barak Obama. It is also, driven by our Attorney General, Eric Holder and the mobs of black people we see screaming and shouting on the TV screen. I do believe that most of our black population are sensible, love our country and wish that these rabble rousers would just go away. I say, Amen and god love them. -------Grandpa Gordon

Old King Coal

Yesterday, Obama railed against the coal industry with his plan to destroy it and save the world from global warming It is a dumb issue as there has been no change of any note for the past 19 years. Changes have been cyclical through the centuries only due to solar activity. The entire issue is political and phoney.
When I was young in the 20's and 30's most of the homes and buildings in my Columbia County were heated by coal. Several thousand chimneys emitted smoke from the coal fired furnaces that kept us all warm during the winter months. Factories had coal furnaces and the hundreds of passenger and freight trains that crossed the county had coal fired boilers to produce the steam.. We filled the skies with carbon. Now if Obama is correct, back then the Columbia County apple orchards could have been orange groves and pineapple plantations. Queechy Lake could have been a year-round vacation destination and the two ice houses could have been resort hotels. Obama wants to destroy our business society and have the government take control of all aspects of our lives. There is no global warming and we are the fools if we believe there is. The coal gray mare she ain't what she used to be. Golly what folly!------Grandpa Gordon

Mopping Up

Immigration and Amnesty. We were promised that there would be no amnesty or pathway to citizenship until the borders were closed and secured. A similar plan was tried under Ronald Reagan, The promise wasn't kept. the borders weren't sealed  and we have millions of more illegals because of it. We CAN'T let this happen again. The borders MUST be sealed first. Try this.----You have a leak and your basement floor is covered with water. You have to mop it up. First you must stop the leak and then do the mopping. If you start mopping before stopping the leak, you will be mopping forever. Pass that on to your senators and congressmen. --------Grandpa Gordon

Objects of affection

The leadership of the Boy Scouts voted to accept homo-sexuals into membership.I have a reason that this is troubling to me. When I was a scout in my early teens, the objects of my romantic and sexual feelings were young ladies of the opposite gender. There was no way at a campout where any of them would be allowed in a bunk or sleeping bag anywhere near me or my fellow scouts. The romantic and sexual objects of the homo-sexuals are other boys or men. They will be sharing the same quarters. I would not want to be oogled in the shower or be a witness to any forms of sexual activity between two male lovers. The Boy Scouts have always had a strong moral compass. Liberal Lawbreaking

Lois Lerner, a high ranking official in the IRS, illegally used the agency to not allow tax exempt status to conservative groups, in order to help the re-election of Barak Obama. She is a public employee paid by the American taxpayers. She earns a high six figure salary. Today she pleaded the fifth and refused to testify before the Congress of her illegal activites. She should be immediately removed from any further government service, fined to repay the treasury, convicted, sent to prison and stripped of all pension rights. It is time to return Constitutional Law to Washington and bring this country back to a semblance of Democracy. Bad politicians of both parties, the media, the President and corrupt liberals need to be held accountable. And above all, we need a new form of taxation to replace the IRS. -----Grandpa Gordon.

Sgt. Schultz in the White House

Hogan's Heroes, a TV sitcom about a stalag in Germany was aired for several seasons. One of the main characters was a guard named Sgt. Schultz. Whenever there was a problem he saw nothing and heard nothing. His oft-heard famous quote was, "I know nothing!" With scandals and serious issues swirling around the current administration in Washington, Our apparently detached President, Barak Obama, has taken on the role of Sgt.Schultz. He knows nothing and knew nothing about these issues. "I found out when it was reported in the media," is his constant reply.When Osama Bin Laden was killed he was there on top of the entire event in the situation room. He was in charge. But with Benghazi, IRS misconduct, AP reporter investigations, Fast & Furious, he knows nothing. He has an appointed high authority staff. Are we tobelieve they tell him nothing? Misconduct in the government is serious and threatens our basic liberties. Our President is not doing his sworn duties. He is a disgrace. Questionable Obama activities (scandals) were the subject of Sundays talk shows. The Administration semt a low-level information person out to handle the interviews. Dan Pfieffer was at a loss to answer anything truthfully or factually. He dodged questions, gave half truths and, often outright lied. If he were under oath, such actions would draw jail time. Good-Better-Best

It has been proven and accepted that Vito Lopez, a NYS senator is guilty of sexual harassment of female staff. Years of abuse and cover-up have finally come to an end. What is good is that Vito said he would resign at the end of the session on June 20. What is better is that he is forced to resign tomorrow. What would have been best is that he resigned years ago when Speaker Sheldon Silver used thousands in tax payer funds to settle and silence the accusers. The whole mess is disgusting and typical of New York City Democrats in State government. Silver  should also resign . At Long Last

Watchdogs?

The editorial in todays Albany Times Union complained of treatment of the press by both the Obama and Cuomo administrations. They stated that there should be no fear of  (A PRESS THAT TAKES SERIOUSLY ITS RESPOSIBILITY TO ACT AS A WATCHDOG ON GOVERNMENT.) That had to be written by a comedy writer. That is the most hilarios sentence I've ever read. The liberal biased media in this country stopped being a true watchdog many,many years ago. The decline of our country and the loss of our freedoms has been the result. One would hope, that with the thousands of media people in this country, that at least one would find the courage and honor to be truthful. There is still hope---Grandpa Gordon

Gandering at Pandering

Pander and pandering----The original definition of panderer is one who furnishes clients for a prostitute. This person is commonly known as a pimp. The newer political panderer is a politician who will say whatever the voters want to hear, whether right or wrong, to obtain their votes. This pandering politician, also supports issues of selected groups to gain their support. It matters not if the issues are good or bad, They often legislate against their good judgement, common sense and the will of their constituents. This is most frequently the action of career politicians whose main goal is always reelection. This is now happening far too often. These career politicians are pimping themselves and good legislation is falling by the wayside. This is happening at the State and Federal level and the Nation is being severely damaged. This past week Hillary gave no answers to questions about Bengahzi. Senator Diane Fienstein said about Americans with guns. "Take "em all away." Hillarys' ridiculous comment, "What difference does it make?" The media was practically mute. But---a  singer lip-syncing the National Anthem at the inauguration brought an onslaught of stupid coverage. A Day of Irony

Today Martin Luther King Day and the presidenyial inauguration of Barak Obama coincide. Martin Luther  had faith in America. He loved his country and its' Constitution and knew that someday soon, his dream of an equal America, would become reality. A reality because that Constitution guaranteed it. Martin Luther King is an American hero.

Barak Obama despises the United States and is reforming the country. He hates the Constitution because it limits his powers. He is attempting to change this to  a country "Of the government, by the government and for the government." A complete socialistic society with a new set of rules.

Martin Luther King is a man to look up to, to honor and be be idiolized.

Barak Obama is a differnt story.
