Gandering at Pandering

Pander and pandering----The original definition of panderer is one who furnishes clients for a prostitute. This person is commonly known as a pimp. The newer political panderer is a politician who will say whatever the voters want to hear, whether right or wrong, to obtain their votes. This pandering politician, also supports issues of selected groups to gain their support. It matters not if the issues are good or bad, They often legislate against their good judgement, common sense and the will of their constituents. This is most frequently the action of career politicians whose main goal is always reelection. This is now happening far too often. These career politicians are pimping themselves and good legislation is falling by the wayside. This is happening at the State and Federal level and the Nation is being severely damaged.
