Secretary of Incompetence

The Benghazi story, which should have been front page headlines, was downplayed prior to the elections. Four Americans were unprotected and murdered and the media continues to downplay the failures of our Department of State. Officials from the Department acknowledged a systemic failure but, is not placing blame on anyone. I will! The failure was incompetence., The blame goes to the President who appointed Hillary Clinton to the position of Secretary of State.Further blame goes to the Democrats and lily-livered Republicans who confirmed her appointment. Let us not forget the major media who failed to question her qualifications for such a post. Since she has held that post, diplomatic relations are breaking down all around the world. We have Benghazi, a middle east in turmoil, atomic threats from Iran and North Korea, and a Marine sitting for no reason in a Mexican prison. As of today, Hillary is in hiding. One thing she cannot hide is her incompetence. We, in no way, can fix these problems until we know the truth. We immediately need open hearings and truthful reporting of the facts. -----Grandpa Gordon

Time for Prayer

Later I will comment on the tragedy that occured in Newtown Connecticut yesterday. Today I want to offer my prayers for the innocent victims and their families. Most of all, I want to pray for the sick society that has developed in our country. We no longer have the character of those who founded this nation, who built this nation and defended this nation through two centuries. We need to get back to our roots. Disaster and destruction

Today NYS Senators Schumer and Gillibrand are testifying before a transportation committee about the disasterous affect and destruction of hurricane Sandy on New York City, Staten Island and Long Island. They are, of course, seeking federal aid. But for almost four years they have been silent asout the disaterous destruction of our Constitution by Barak Obama. Add to that his administations' destruction of our foreign policy, our military, our economy,  our freedoms and our future. These two simpletons are aiding and abeting Obama in creating trillioin dollar deficits, Chicago style politics and scandal after scandal. This is more than serious. This is a real disaster. Vengence

President Obama is urging Americans to vote against Mitt Romney for revenge. Revenge for what? Mitt Romney is urging his voters to vote for love of country. Barak Obama's entire adult life is hate for America. He hates the free enterprize system that, for 200 years, made this the greatest, free-est, most opportunity country this world has ever known. Way to go Joe

Last night in the Vice Presidrntial debate with Paul Ryan, Joe Biden stated that the murderous raid on our Embassy in Benghazi was prompted by a video produced in the U.S. He said this was from information provided by our intelligence community. Yesterday, testimony before Congress proved that Mr. Biden was not being truthful. Way to go Joe! Later in the debate, Joe said there was no immediate nuclear threat from Iran based on information from the same intelligence community.Joe makes them wrong when it benefits him and then right for the same reason.These are very serious issues and Joe is playing loose with the truth and with the intelligence community. Way to go Joe!

Prediction

The debacle in Libya and the lies. The death of our ambassador and three others. The deficit. No foreign policy. High unemployment. No solutions. Barak Obama is a failure. I predict that history will show that our first black president will be rated as one of our worst presidents. Obama lies over the ocean

Obama lies over the sea. Obama lies over the ocean and everywhere else! He lies from the White House. He lies on television. He lies to reporters and he lies on the campaign trail. He lied about having the most open administration in the history of the Presidency. He claimed he knew nothing of his Pastor, Reverend Wrights' speeches, about his hate for America. "Not God bless America, but God damn America!" Obama had spent 20 years in his church and considered him an advisor.. He does not tell his true plans for the country. If he did he would be impeached. He tells one lie after another.
There is no question. He was strongly defeated in the first debate. He and his team quickly blamed his miserable performance by claiming that Mitt Romney did nothing but lie. That, in itself, is another huge Obama lie. Anyone who knows anything about Mitt Romney knows that he is an honest and most honorable family man and citizen. Mitt Romneys' success and accomplishments are based in his truthfulness. These are qualities that Barak Obama cannot claim. Unless he lies! ------Grandpa Gordon

A Waste Line

I heard a phrase on radio or TV last week that stuck with me. President Obama is constantly campaigning and building his voting base. He is striving to create a socialistic society where the people will be completely dependent upon the government for their existance. We will no longer be a nation in which the people run the government, but one in which the government controls the people. He removed the work requirement for welfare. He extended the original six months of unemployment insurance to years. He is advertising for people to come and get free food stamps in the U.S. and inviting illegal Mexicans to cross the border for free food. He is providing free cell phones (over a million) to those who do not care to earn one. His message is: You do not need to work and provide for yourself and family. The government will do it for you. Instead of using hard earned tax payer dollars to bring down the huge deficit, he is building his voter base of people with their hands out. Which brings me to that phrase: " President Obama is wasting tax payer dollars encouraging people to waste their lives." --------------------Grandpa Gordon

Replacing Replacements

I was watching the news Wednesday morning and two stories were in the forefront. The incompetence of the replacement officials in the NFL and the controversy over the attack on our Embassy in Libya. The second-string officials have blown too many calls and it is time for them to go. All the experts say that the attack on the Embassy, that killed our Ambassador, was a well-planned and coordinated procedure. President Obama, who loves the Muslim faith and is afraid of the extremely radical Muslims, insists that it was a spontaneous mob scene. He blames the mob attack on a video movie trailer. The administrative branch in the White House is the equivalent of the replacement officials. Jay Carney the Presidents' spokesman, has been on both sides of the issue and hardly knows what to say at this point. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinyon, mumbles and fumbles in her explanations. The President refuses to accept the facts and continues to lie to the American people. It is time to replace the replacements, both in the NFL and in Washington. Rise to the occasion on Nov. 6th. A Photo Finish

Many states now require a photo ID in order to vote. The Obama administration is seeking to overturn those laws. Why are they opposed to this requirement? One reason and only one reason. They want to commit voter fraud by allowing non-eligible people to vote. Shades of the black panthers in 2008!
Actually, a photo ID can be very helpful. With one a person can: - Obtain a drivers license , board an airplane, open a bank account, get a valid passport, and attend the National Democrat Convention. Yes, they required photo ID to get in. This is the party that wants security at their convention and corruption in the polling place. They feel certain, that without voter fraud, they will lose in November.

Disgraceful is putting it mildly

Last night former President, William Jefferson Clinton, spoke at theDemocrat national nominating convention. Am I the only one who is dumbfounded that this person still struts the political stage and is honored by the liberals? While President, he engaged in a disgraceful sexual act with an attractive young female intern, lied about it, perjured himself and was dis-barred.. He brought disgrace upon the office, his family and the people of the United States. He made us the laughing stock of the entire world. More disgraceful, he did not resign! Encouraged by his wife and party, and with the help of the liberal media and the lily-livered moderate Republicans, he was allowed to remain in office and complete his term. After departing the White House, he has become a millionaire making speeches to morons willing to pay and listen. Where have morals, common sense and decency gone? I am angered at all of this. I do not wish to write pornography. But, I must be explicit to make my case.
Mr. Clinton engaged the young intern in a act of oral sex upon himself to the point of climax. Semen stains on her blue dress were the proof. He also, had her entertain him by self-satisfying herself using one of his prime cigars as a dildo.Then, I believe, this human piece of excrement lit it up and further enjoyed himself.
 When confronted, he was quoted "I did not have sex with Miss Lewinsky." After the proof, he claimed that such actions were not sex. Oral sex then mushroomed throughout high schools all over. What a sleazebag! How was this man allowed to remain in office? What a terrible blot on American  history. Who are the idiots that honor him? They are the ones holding the convention in North Carolina.
An added thought--- With the likes of Bill Clinton and Sandra Fluck as their heroes, the Convention should hand out cigars and, at the end, instead of releasing baloons, release air filled condoms!---Grandpa Gordon

I'm an American

I've had it with Obama and his attempts to label and divide us. I've had it with his pandering to special groups to win a second term. He is serving himself and not the country!
I don't care if I'm white, black, brown, yellow, pink or chartreuse - I'm an American. I don't care if I'm European, Asian, Indian, Oriental Hispanic or Latino - I'm an American! I don't care if I'm poor, rich, middleclass or somewhere in between - I'm an American! I don't care if I'm republican, independant, democrat or what else - I'm an American! I don't care if I'm Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Atheist or anything else - I'm an American! I believe in our Constitution and the freedoms it provides. I cherish the fact, that as free people, we can strive to become whatever we want to be. I am proud of the greatness of my country and its' stature as the protector of freedom and democracy throughout the world.

Only you can fix the economy

The big issue of the coming election is the economy. "Blame it on Bush," is the mantra of Obama's team. His Chief of Staff, Axelrod, stated that the worst economic decline in history was the last three months of the Bush administration. But, he failed to tell us why. I'll tell you why. By the beginning of October the polls indicated that Obama would easily win the electioin over John McCain. Businessmen, the financial community and astute Americans knew of Obama's hatred of the free enterprise system and his liberal socialistic plans.The economy began to decline, and with his election in November, it crashed. His failed stimulus spending and ever growing huge deficits, continue to worsen the economy. Obama is the reason why. If he wins again in November the hope of recovery is gone.We will become another France or Greece.
Mitt Romney saved the winter Olympics and, as Governor, got Massachusetts out of debt and into a surplus. This may be our last chance. Mitt Romney and a Republican Senate and Congress can bring America back to a sound and prosperous nation. We can get the job done on November sixth. A Wasted Term

The past two nights I watched and listened to the speeches from the Republican convention. Uncensored by media bias, spin and cover-up, the real President Obama was revealed. Our country is in a serious condition because of his lack of leadership, foolish policies,bad legislation and failure to tackle the real and important serious issues. Indeed, a wasted presidential term that has worsened the condition of America.
He will go down in history as the first black President of the United States. In time he will also, go down as one of the worst Presidents. That will be history and his legacy.

The storm clouds gather

The storm clouds of hurricane Isaac are over Tampa and the Republican convention. The media and the liberals are going all out to use Isaac to disrupt the huge event. The National Weather Service, under White House orders, falsified the direction of the hurricane path. In truth, it was to stay westward toward the gulf coast, causing the media to dig deep and to resurrect Katrina and the completely phoney claim of the Bush Administration's poor response. They never mention that Bush suggested the evacuation almost 48 hours before the storm hit. It was diverted funds and lack of response by the Democrat Mayor and Governor that added to the chaos. However, the convention is on with the purpose to elect Mitt Romney and conservative Senators and Representatives on Nov.6th to remove the devastating storm clouds hovering over the entire nation. Storm clouds, that if not removed, will rain down socialism and the loss of individual freedom on all Americans. It is the most important election of our lifetime and we must not fail. Laughable

For TV iewing, I enjoy baseball and comedy shows. Thursday night I watched the Boston Red Sox blow a six run lead and lose the game 14 to 13 in ten innings. I then realized, I was watching my two favorite things at the same time.------Grandpa Gordon

After You Shake it Down

Yesterday I met a retired teacher colleague of several years and the current political issues entered the discussion. He stated that he was a lifelong democrat. To avoid getting into personalities and sticky subjects, I told him my main concern was the huge national deficit. His typical liberal solution was to raise taxes on the "rich" and gut the military. Liberals never talk of reducing spending and down-sizing government, which are both out of control, along with entitlements. In this world today we need a strong military and a drasticly smaller entitlement society. If we shake it down, here is what we have----

Because there is absolutely no defence for most of President Obama's actions and policies, his liberal defenders call those of us that criticize ---"racists". Fundraisers using taxpayer funds!

Where is President Obama today? He is in Colorado on Air Force I conductucting fund raising events. The records show that he has held more such events in his three and one half years, than all four previous Presidents combined, in their twenty years. Obama's events are costing the taxpayers billions while the country is swirling into bankruptcy of trillions in deficits. He is using these funds to produce negative TV ads, full of lies, smearing Mitt Romney. He can't run on his record of total failure. Failure in job creation, in improving the economy, in foreign policy, border security, oil independence, downsizing government, in honest and open administration, or keeping his many promises to the American people. His only plan to reduce the deficit is to tax, the already overtaxed, wealthy and to weaken our military. He will need huge sums of money to be re-elected. And, he is using our taxes to do it. What Do You Know?

Dictators know that to take over a free people and control the state, there are two things they must control. The media has to publish and broadcast only the news that fits the agenda. The education system will teach  only what benefits the cause. By controlling the news and the learning, the communist and socialistic leaders can turn free people into subjects dependent upon the government for their livelihood. This is happening right here and now in the USA. The only salvation for us at the present time is our freedom of speech. Thank God that they have not been able to shut down talk radio, the Fox news network, a few independent newspapers and the internet. The strong teacher unions and the teachers are controlling what our youth are learning in schools and colleges. The print and broadcast media are relentlessly pushing the liberal agenda. Weather or Not

Last evening there was a huge charity tent event for the Saint Mary's Seton Health Foundation. The weather prediction was horrible with thunder storms, heavy rains, hail and severe winds. It didn't happen. The weather was picture perfect and the event a huge success. Colin DeMers, the head of the catering company, related that when they do these Catholic charity functions the weather is, almost always, perfect. I wonder if there is a message here? Perhaps the soy bean and corn farmers, suffering a drought in the mid-west, should think along different lines and forget about the indians dancing.------Grandpa Gordon

Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr. is known to his friends and colleagues as "Pinch". He is the owner and publisher of the liberal Democrat campaign journal - The New York Times. The Times was once the most powerful and prominent newspaper in the world, shaping the days news for almost all the other news organizations. Now it is idealisticly agenda driven to be the public relations arm of the Liberal's attempt to govern and control the American citizens. I say instead of the news, Pinch is publishing crap.

Pain With No Gain

When Barak Obama took office in 2009, he urged the Democrat controlled Congress to pass his 800 billion stimulus bill with the promise that it would bring unemployment down to an acceptble 5.2%. The money was foolishly doled out to protect existing union jobs and failing green energy enterprises. Here we are over three and a half years later with no reduction in the unemployment figures. The White House spins the figure at 8.2%. The actual unemployment numbers are over 14%. The money was spent and now it is gone. The deficit is rising and the American taxpayers are holding the bill. Obama says he needs four more years to get the job done. For more yars of destroying the economy? No way! November 6,2012 it is Bye Bye Barak day. Your duty and my duty is to get out and vote. The Truth About Ruth

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated, "I would not look to the U.S. Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012." Believing this way and knowing the mandate of the position, why did she accept the appointment? There is no way she could properly fill the role. Her reasoning is that our Constitution is too old. She cites the South African Constitution that includes rights to housing, health care and welfare services. These are rights given to us by our parents until we mature and move on in life to pursue the American dream. Ruth believes that the government should be our parents from birth until death. More liberal idiosy and the destruction of freedom and liberty.No thanks Ruth. It would be proper for her to resign. Now, I'm going to exercise my constitutional right to free speech. Outsourcing

President Obama has nothing. I repeat, nothing to campaign on. Now he is attacking Mitt Romney for outsourcing jobs. Businesses do this to become profitable. It happened when Romney was at Bain Capital 10 years ago. The green energy companies that Obama has given billions to, are sending jobs all over the world. The pot calling the kettle. What a bunch of nonsense! Let us remember how this all started many years ago. Obama's beloved labor unions forced companies to manufacture elsewhere because of their demands for ridiculously high wages and, even higher benefits.Companies have share holders and they need to be profitable. Outsourcing enabled most of the American auto companies to barely survive. We need to get rid of Obama and the strong-armed labor union tactics. Elect Mitt Romney and America will survive. A fool's tax

President Obama is seeking to raise taxes on the top 2% of wage earners to reduce the deficit. Wonderful! That will handle the deficit for only eight and one half days a year. What are his plans for the other 356.5 days? There will never be enough possible taxation to handle his huge trillion dollar deficits. He knows and you know and I know that the only way is: drastically reduce government spending. Entitlements have grown completely out of control. We must cut way back and only help those that are truly in need. Federal and state governments have more than doubled in recent years. Entire foolishly created and un-neccesary departments and agencies need to be eliminated. This will save billions annualy and create huge deficit reductions. It is true that many government jobs will be lost. But, these are jobs that never should have been created. We must do this to help eliminate the pending burden on our children, grandchildren and generations to come. This year there are candidates running who know how to do this. We MUST elect them. This is Rich

Because the Obama campaign cannot run on his dismal record, their strategy is to attack Mitt Romney as an out-of-touch wealthy elitist. I say good for him! Go back 240 some years. George Washington, our first president, the Father of our country, was by the standards then, a man of great wealth. He was one of the greatest Presidents to serve our nation. I say go for it Mitt. You can be proud of being rich and a great example of the American dream. And, with what we have today in the man that sits in the White House, it is appropriate to elect another man like George Washington who could not tell a lie!

No Respect

What is Fair

Four years ago Barak Obama's mantra was hope and change. This year his mantra is fair. "The rich must pay their fair share. We must make it fair for everyone. We need to be fair."
Is it fair that our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be taxed to pay off the trillions of dollars of debt that Obama is increasing by the millions every single day? Is it fair that the rich (one percent of our entire population) pay over 90% of all income taxes? Is it fair that over 40% of all wage earners pay no income taxes at all? Is it fair that public employee union members make higher wages and have better pensions than tax paying workers in the private sector? Is it fair that the billions of dollars of bail out stimulus went to union jobs and companies that gave huge donations to Obama's campaign? Words have meanings, but not to Obama. Hope and Change! Duty Calls

President JFK said, "Ask not what your country can do for you---Ask what you can do for your country." Today what you can do for your country is----Tune in to the Fox News Network!
A citizens' right to vote is the most sacred thing in our democracy. Not only is it a priviledge and right it is, also a  duty. Another of the duties is to be an informed voter. If a citizen gets most of his information from the major newspapers and the three TV networks he is an indoctrinated voter. Not an informed voter. The major media in this country, no longer hides their liberal bias. They are in full campaign mode for Obama and the extreme liberal agenda. Fox News will give you the truth. Fair and balanced is their slogan. You will become that very special informed voter and, in November, you can do a most important thing for your country. Entitlement societies

To reduce our national debt and spending, many say we must cut-back on entitlements. There are now, and always will be, people in our society with serious needs. Throughout history our government and charities have done a fairly good job of addressing those in need. However,in the past few decades our liberal policies have created a huge entitlement society. People who feel that it is job of the government to take care of their needs. They lack the ambition and desire to fend for themselves and have a misguided mind set. The government takes the money of the hardworking taxpayers to cover the huge cost of the entitlement programs. We now have a second entitlement society. Public employee Unions. Both government workers and teachers. They believe they are entitled to higher salaries and pensions than private industry workers. Two entitlement societies, both supporting the liberal democrats. We have reached the breaking point. There are more takers than there are givers. It is time to reduce entitlements, reduce the number of government employees, bring public union contracts to reasonable levels and only take care of the truly needy. The F Bomb

Last night on the cable I was exposed to a movie that used the F--- word in almost every sentence. When I was young, that word was almost forbidden. In our culture today it is embarrasingly common. To me that displays a lack of intelligence of the person using the word and the screenwriters. In it's basic sense the word describes sexual intercourse. That activity in most instances, is enjoyable and positive. In another word something nice. Those using the F--- word, use it to describe a thing as bad. A completely opposite meaning. That is dumb. For example - "What a f---ing plan!" Translated - "What a nice enjoyable plan." In plain common sense, those using the F--- words are stupid, dumb and lack verbal skills. Not surprising is it that Vice President Joe Biden was caught with an open mike saying, "This is a big f---ing deal!' Add one more idiot to the list. ------Granpa Gordon

Gosh oh gee. here are three

The years go by, but democrats and liberals do not change. When Bill Clinton was questioned about his down and dirty in the Oval Office, he came up with the famous, "it depends on what the meaning of is is! Do you mean is or is or the other is?" Two days ago Hilary Rosen, an Obama advisor, made some outrageous comments about Anne Romney. To tie her in with the President, it was pointed out that she had made 35 visits to the White House. Guess What? Obama's people claim there are three Hilary Rosens. Do you mean Hilary Rosen or Hilary Rosen or the other Hilary Rosen?
This would be laughable if it weren't for the disdain that they have for the American voter. They believe we are all stupid. Let us show them how stupid we are in November as we vote them all out of office. -----Grandpa Gordon

Infighting displays lack of Insighting

Romney and Santorum are greatly diminishing themselves by attacking each other.It is time that these boys got back to business and tell us how and why they should get the nomination to become the Republican consevative candidate. Whoever the candidate, he or she, must lead our Nation out of the abyss of huge deficits and loss of freedoms into which Obama and his liberal socialist democrats have taken us. K-K-K-Keystone

For whatever reason, President Obama does not want the Keystone pipeline. For three years he has blocked the start of construction. Even though, it would create thousands of jobs, increase our oil supply and lower prices. The majority of Americans want it and Obama's approval ratings are diving. He is dismayed and here is my poetic version of what he is now saying.
            That damned Keystone pipeline, how I really deplore it.

Unions Path to the End

It has been reported that over 90% of all Union political contributions go to the liberal democrat socialistic candidates. From the President on down the purpose is clear. To turn the USA into a socialistic government controlled second-class nation. The target and foe of the private society unions are the corporations, stockholders and business owners. The target and foe of the public employee unions are the American taxpayers. If they succeed, (we are getting close), there will be no corporations, stockholders or private businesses. It follows, then, that there would be no more tapayers. No Union targets or foes. A completely socialistic state. No more need for, or allowance for Unions. Where would the Union bosses go? Probably back to Mafia type crime organizations like they have in Russia and other communist societies. This can be prevented. Ignore the Union bosses and the media. Bill Maher & Schumer

N.Y. Senator Charles Schumer condemned Rush Limbaugh and defended Bill Maher in the female name-calling incidents. He stated that Rush was a spokesman for the Republicans and that Maher was a comedian on the air at 11:00 PM. Chuck, Maher is on HBO all hours of prime time and he is more of a cheer leader for the Obama administration than a comic. Didn't he donate one million to the campaign? Rush is a conservative constitutionalist decrying the loss of individual freedoms. Sandra Fluke wanted someone else's money to cover her $1,000 a year contraceptive costs. A prostitute is one who seeks money to engage in sexual activity. A slut is one with an immoral appetite for un-married sex. Sandra fits both catogries. Shumer is the one who jumps in front of the camera to tout phoney issues. He is trulely the comic in this scenario. The important issue, Chuck is the way liberal Obama is running up the deficit, destroying our foreign policy and driving us into a nanny socialistic state where the government has complete control of the people. This morning on Fox News there was a discussion about the name calling over the phoney "Buy me my contraceptives" Sandra Fluke oration. There would be no story, had dear Sandra availed herself of the absolutely free, easily accessable birth control drugs.----Selphadenial and Noassatall. Rush was right

Rush is being vilified by the liberal pundits for the use of two words in reference to Sandra Fluke, (or Fluck), depending on how one pronounces it. She calls herself a reproductive activist and testified before a small group from Congress about the need for free contraception. The entire event was well scripted and staged to create a woman's issue for the liberals and detract from the serious problems of the Obama administration. She stated that as a law school student, she could not afford the $1,000 costs the  yearly need of her sexual appetite.. She is willing to accept someone else's money for her sexual pleasure. Rush inferred that that was akin to being a prostitute. (Described in my Webster as a woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money). The high cost she described would indicate a huge amount of sexual activity. Rush also used the word slut. (Described in my Webster as a sexually immoral woman). She is un-married and I agree with Rush. Here we have a reproductive activist who wants free contraception so she will not be reproductive! Give me (and everyone else) a break.--------Grandpa Gordon

I'm no kook Ms. Fluke

It was a staged and scripted political event. There was Sandra Fluke reading her script in front of Nancy Pelosi, an embarassing small amount of officials and the, of course, necessary liberal media. Ms. Fluke, (I'm uncertain of the name pronunciation. Does it rhyme with a word for vomiting or with a word for fornicatiion?), was supposedly testifying in support of free contraception. She informed the group that with her sexual appetite, she could not afford to buy contraceptives and make it through law school at Georgetown. She estimated the cost to be $3,000. She chooses to have sex for a fun activity and wants someone else to cover the cost. My choice would be to watch the Red Sox. Should someone else be forced to pay for my tickets?  Only the liberal democrats could make a political issue out of contaception. They should all practice it. Eventually there would be no more damned liberals.
If contraception medication is needed for internal female reproductive medical problems, then it should be covered like other medications. Also the morning-after pill in cases of rape. But, not for chosen recreational sexual activity. Your nonsense testimony Sandra Fluke is enough to make normal sane man puke. -----Grandpa Gordon

On the Team

Rick Santorum described himself as a team player when he served in the U.S. Senate. Mitt Romney has ridiculed and attacked Santorum for that statement. Romney indicated that playing on the team was not being an individual benefitting the American public. At that time, when the party was controlled by the Republican moderates, being a team player was the only way to make some progress. I must remind Governor Romney that there is now a new team. A team made up of conservative Republicans, the Tea Party and a large bastion of independents. It was this new team that made tremendous gains and dramatically changed the House of Representatives in 2010. Mr. Romney, wake up and smell the coffee! Amazing Feds

I learned from my latest issue of Newsmax Magazine that the federal workforce under President Obama has grown 13 percent. That's thousands and thousands of new workers. I guess that is one way to make the poor employment figures look better. But, it is all at taxpayer expense. Another revelation was that the federal workers are not good at paying their income taxes. The fact is, federal workers owe 3.4 billion in overdue taxes. That includes many employees of the IRS.  This continues at a time when the nation is suffering huge deficits. I suggest that the authorities go after the fed workers and make them pay-up, before they go after the poorer civilian workers that are delinquent. That would satisfy me.-------Grandp Gordon

The Apologizer-in-Chief

President Obama loves to apologize. An apology is an expression of ones regrets. Shortly after taking office, Mr Obama traveled to many foreign nations and apologized for America. He apologized for our aggression. Saving the world and humanity in WWI and WWII, to him is aggression He apologized for our humanitarianism. Being the most generous and giving country known to mankind, to him is arrogance. He apolgized because we have the highest standard of living in history. He apologized because our poor are far richer than the rest of the world's poor. He apologized for capitalism. He believes, in his liberal unbalanced head, that no one should have more, or less, than anyone else in the world. Except, of course, the liberal leaders and hierarchy.Two days ago he apologized for the NATO burning of the Koran. Korans that had been defaced by Muslim prisoners. Two American soldiers were killed by rioters following the incident. America recieved no apology for that. Mr. Obama owes the American people an apology.
Many years ago, Billy Eckstine had a hit song titled "I Apologize." Mr Obama should take some of the lyrics and, because he likes to sing, dedicate them to the American public. "If I told a lie, if I made you cry, I'm sorry. If I caused you pain, I know I am to blame. I apologize." Then he should resign! ----Grandpa Gordon

Four years ago Ron Paul ran in the Republican primary. It was a losing cause. His campaign failed and died. Once again, this year, he is running again. In most of the polls he is losing and in last place. His campaign is facing the same fate as before. Is that why they call his supporters "Paul Bearers?"-----Grandpa Gordon

My Ice Age

The winter weather in the northeast, this year, is warmer than normal. While driving on some errands, I observed the rivers with little, or no ice and lakes with very thin ice covers. My thoughts went back to my pre-teen years when refridgeration was just beginning. Berkshire Farm School for boys, where my dad worked and my family lived, was still in the age of ice boxes. Large, heavy cakes of ice were used every day to keep the food at a cool temperature. Underground structures, called root cellars, were also used for food preservation. Berkshire Farm had a shoreline on Queechy Lake. In the summer, it was a great place for swimming, diving and camping. During the winter months the lake provided a year long supply of ice for the ice boxes. A huge barn-like building stood among the trees at the lakes edge. This was called the Ice House. Large cakes of ice were cut from the lake and channeled to the conveyor up into the Ice House. Layers and layers of these cakes, insulated with sawdust, were piled from floor to roof. The ice lasted until the following winter. It is a good thing that winters like this one are few, and far between. Because, back in those days, food preservation would have been most difficult. And, summertime cocktails would have been served warm.-----------Grandpa Gordon

Senseless

President Obama got the payroll tax savings extended for another year. Funding of the Social Security System will suffer, but Mr. Obama said that this will put a few extra dollars in workers pockets each week. He stated that this will be helpful in these hard economic times. Then he rejects the Keystone pipeline, fails to open new drilling areas or release the ban on off-shore production. The turmoil in the middle East and other factors are causing the barrel price of oil to rise everyday. The price at the pump is already at four dollars a gallon and five dollars is predictable. The extra few dollars in your pocket each week will be nedeed to fill the gas tank and cover the added costs of all products. Is this man insane? ----Grandpa Gordon

A Spendthrift Squanderer

It appears that Congress has agreed to extend the payroll tax deductions for a short period. They wanted equal cuts in spending to off-set the loss in revenue. President Obama refused that plan. The media calls it a win for the White House. Thus, the deficit grows and the American citizens are the losers. Obama promised to cut the deficit in half during his first term. Instead he has grown it by four trillion. Yes, TRILLION. Does he care?  The cost of flying Air Force One is over 181 thousand dollars per hour. Not to mention the added costs of Marine One and the secret service crew. Obama used, and flew, AF1 at least 172 times in 2010. These were not always trips related to the presidency. Many were vacation larks and fund raisers for his next election. All at taxpayer expence and added to the deficit. His vacation in Hawaii cost over four million. Does he care? He has flown more trips than any other President. The nation struggles while he lives like a king on the taxpayers dime. He has had 90 golf outings. Does he care? And, why hasn't the media reported on these abuses? Do they care? We need to fix this in November and we better damn well do it. The Golden Goose

The Public Employee and Teachers Unions are very upset over Governor Cuomo's efforts to control expences by seeking concessions and changes with taxpayer funded salaries and benefits. Both of these are far above workers in the private sector. Unfortunately, in the past, school boards and the government caved in on pressure from the union bosses and let pay and benefits get way out of control. Many public employees are allowed to work extra overtime hours in the last three years of their careers to greatly increase their retirement pay. There needs to be reform and a cap put on retirement pensions. Governer Cuomo is doing what is right for his State and it's citizens. The Unions are greatly upset with him and his actions. It was these same Unions that poured large sums of money into helping Mr. Cuomo get elected. They asked for it and paid for it. And it is happening in States all across the Union. The time for change is now, before the Golden Goose is dead. Right on Andrew Cuomo! ------Grandpa Gordon

Low Snow

Here in the winter of 2011-2012 sixty percent of the U.S. is experiencing a lower amount of snowfall and snow cover than usual. The environmentalists and others are blaming the lack of snow on man-made global warming and climate change. However, we have already had more snow than the record year of low snowfall. What winter was that? The record winter for the lowest amount of snow was 1912-1913. There were no carbon belching SUV's back then so, it must have been buffalo farts! To claim that man can bring about climate change in this vast world is a cruel joke. ------Grandpa Gordon

Super Bowl Do-over

Along with all the Super Bowl stories on the morming news, it was reported that a school system out west was establishing a "no student fails policy." If a pupil gets a low score on a test  , that student can re-take the test until getting a passing grade. In that school district world there are no failures only successes. A false world with no losers, only winners. How ridiculous! With that philosophy, last night Tom Brady should have been allowed to keep trying that (Hail Mary) pass until he succeeded. The world is made up of mixed nuts --- peanuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, brazils, hazels, liberals  and progressives.
More-- The other night on TV was a comedian ventrloquist with a wooden dummy. The dummy was running for president with the slogan, "Put a real Dummy in the White House." That got me thinking. Suppose our current President was made of wood? Speech after speech his nose would grow longer and longer. He would become the only President that could be in the west wing and the east wing at the same time. That would be historic. Let's make him history in November. ----- Grandpa Gordon

Now it is Sugar

The food police liberals are now trying to take sugar out of the American diet to fight obesity. The federal government will create regulations to control what we are allowed to eat. Is this the role of government? Find it in the Constitution if you will, They have already done it with salt. Why? Because they claim salt causes high blood pressure. In some people it does And in others it does not. Salt is not bad for everyone, but it is good for everyone. On salt, the food police got it wrong. A low salt diet may reduce blood pressure in some cases. But, new research has found that the low salt diet increases cholesterol, fat and hormones in the blood, creating a greater risk of heart problems. The researchers found that a low-salt diet is a far greater risk than a normal salt diet. If the government is so concened about obesity, they should encourage more physical activity and less sitting in front of electronic devices. One good activity would be to run to the polls and vote out these liberal idiots and elect people who will downsize the bureaucracy. In other words--- make our government less obese. The Dysfunctional U.N.

The United Nations has become corrupt and dysfunctional. Third world countries have poverty, starvation and tyranical leaders. Somalian pirates are raising havoc and taking hostages, Where is the U.N.? Rogue nations are developing nuclear warfare capabilities. Where is the U.N.?. Countries with the worst civil rights violations are on the civil rights council. It's a joke. Dysfunctional, indeed! The U.N. has created a dangerous U.N. Army, a global welfare agency, a U.N. World Court and is now pushing for a One World Government.This would mean that the United States would turn over our sovreignty   to this corrupt entity. God forbid! There is a bill in Congress, H.R. 1146 - the American Sovereignty Restoration Act that will prevent this. We spend billions of taxpayer dollars on the U.N. It is time to pull back from the U.N. or get out of it completely. If the U.N. cannot be reformed it should be disbanded. Urge your Congressman to pass the bill. Believe it or not, some liberal democrats are in favor of it. The biggest relief agency in the world is The United States of America. The U.N. has failed! The Pipe Line Folly

Installing the Keystone pipline means jobs, more oil and lower prices throughout the economy. Why did President Obama delay it? It is all about politics and being re-elected. The ecology nuts will send him money to encourage his rejection. The labor unions will pour money to him for an approval. When he makes his decision, after the election, one of those groups will suffer. In the meantime our entire nation will suffer and continue to be dependent on overseas oil. Opening that pipeline would result in lower transportation prices, thus making the cost of food and products much lower. More jobs will be created and the economy will begin to rebound. If this happens the cost of living declines. There will be no COLA increases for social security and the government will save billions. It is so simple. What does that tell you about Obama? It tells you he doesn't want a recovery. He wants to destroy our capatalistic 200 year successful system and make us a government controlled socialistic society. New Name for the News

The exposed major, elite media of ours no longer try to hide or cover up their liberal, socialistic bias. With everyone knowing exactly what they are, they arrogantly move on. At one time they were the watchdogs and the protectors of our liberties and were known as news organizations. In the dictionary, news is described as: new information, information previously unknown, and reports of recent happenings. Also in the dictionary, propaganda is defined as: Any widespread promotion of particular ideas, doctrines etc. or, ideas, doctrines or allegations so spread and now often used to convey deception or distortion.
If truth should ever be embraced by our media, they would, no longer be NBC News. They would be NBC Propaganda. Likewise, ABC and CBS. And the New York Times --- all the propaganda that is fit to print. Stop by your local propaganda stand. Morning delivery by the propaganda boy. T Party

Herman Cain has 3 nines for tax reform. I have 3 T's for saving our country from the socialistic path we are now on. In 2012 we must elected those who will support and enact the 3 T's. They are:
Tax Reform----Term Limits----Tort Reform
1- Tax Reform-- A flat tax where every wage earner pays a certain percent. For starters let's say 15%. An earner making $30,000 would pay $4,500. One making $70,000 would pay $10,500, and one making 1 million would pay $150,000. That appears fair to me (fair share). Most important is that when everyone pays, they will all be concerned about what the government is doing and spending. With over 40% now not paying any taxes the politicians are getting away with atrocities.
2- Term Limits-- Career politicians are more concerned about being re-elected than they are about the good of the country. They pander to special interests and do whatever is needed to remain in office. Term limits would send them back to their original careers where they can earn a living and a pension.
3- Tort Reform-- This is drastically needed to do away with frivilous law suits. The simple change - the loser pays all court costs. As it is now, companies settle out of court, even when they are in the right, to avoid the overwhelming costs of trials. Because of this products and services are more expensive for you and me. Most important. Tort reform would greatly lower health care costs. I would love that. ----Grandpa Gordon

Globs of Globe

The liberal Boston Globe propaganda news rag has come out in support of John Huntsman in the NewHampshire primary. Four years ago they did the same for John McCain. Please be aware that all of the major media are striving for socialism. They advocate support for the weakest possible republican in the race. They try to create chaos in the conservative ranks. It will not work this time, Any candidate against Obama will win. They only have to run against his dismal record. His disdain for America, his broken vows and promises, his deficits and run-away spending, his foreign policy mistakes, his illegal appointments and his disregard of our Constitution. The Iowa caucuses are over. Obama is back from his Hawaiian vacation. Where is he today? He is flying Air Force I at millions of dollars of taxpayer money to campaign for a second term in Cleveland, Ohio. His presidency is his campaign. His failures are numerous and his country is in desparate straits. His foreign policy and relations are dangerous. His catering to lobbyists and special interest groups is harmful. His Obama health care is bordering on disastor. His trillion dollar deficit and lack of fiscal reponsibility is alarming. His Fast & Furious gun debacle is criminal. His relationships with domestic terrorists and preachers who hate America is intolerable. This is a small sample. The list could go on. This is his campaign.This is what he is and, he wants four more years to continue the damage! We must not let this happen. Caucuses & Primarys

It starts today in Iowa. And, it may prove nothing as often is the case. The process will move on and, eventually a candidate will emerge. That candidate must be a strong coservative or, all will be lost. Don't let the media pick our man as they did four years ago with John McCain. He was where the media wanted him - way down in the polls until he seleted Sarah Palin. Then the media had to destroy her to save Obama. This year the media will not matter. They failed in 2010 and they will fail again in 2012. Consevatives must rally 'round the Republican nominee. The salvation of America's future depends on it. Most important! We must take control of the Senate and add many more republican conservatives to the Congress. It is all in the hands of the American voters. If we fail, our nation is doomed. Happy New Important Year

Spent the New Year's weekend a the Trapp Family Lodge. Took note of the ehnic and national diversity of the many guests. It brought to mind the world's economic situation. Obama and the liberal democrats are trying to make America into a socialistic second class nation. The Chinese economy is booming and ours is tanking.
